At Abundant Life Manor, we implement the STAR method for care management. The STAR method is a comprehensive, five point approach to individual care developed at the University of Wisconsin by Tim Howell, MD, MA, a leader of geriatric psychiatry in the region and the curator of this method at our facility. Each of our residents is reviewed regularly from a medical, medicinal, social, behavioral, and personal standpoint to accurately search for factors in the changes in their health. The STAR method is an approach that has proven effective to optimize the well-being of our residents and their families, and to uphold the highest quality of life.
